Thanks for using MSG Email Reader. Your privacy is important to me, and I want to be transparent about how this app works.

1. No data collection

MSG Email Reader does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. All MSG files and content you open with the app are processed locally on your device and never leave it.

To improve your experience, the app may attempt to fetch a favicon from the sender’s email domain (e.g., example.com/favicon.ico) when an internet connection is available. This is done solely to visually enhance the inbox view. No data is collected, stored, or tracked during this process. When offline, a fallback SVG icon is used if no favicon is already cached.

2. No tracking

This app does not include any analytics, tracking libraries, or third-party data collection tools. I have no interest in your data, and the app is designed to work offline and privately.

3. No third-party integrations

There are no third-party APIs or services integrated into the app that would access or handle your data.

4. Future changes

If the privacy policy ever changes—though I don’t plan for that—I’ll update this page with the new details and the effective date.
